Cathie Coy was thrown into the world of real estate 14 years ago when her family opened a boutique agency specializing in new construction.
As one of two agents in the office, she sold out their first 32-lot subdivision in only 16 months while managing two additional subdivisions and the build of several custom homes that appeared in SW Washington’s premier luxury home show, The Parade of Homes.
Cathie developed life-long friendships as she brought clients’ vision to life and managed everything from contracts and relationships with contractors, to floor plan design, staging, property marketing, and home tours.
“Prior to and throughout opening the agency, I worked as a hospitality director in the food and beverage industry for 15 years and learned how to interact with people and solve their problems in an honest and kind way. Hospitality is in my blood and it’s proven really helpful in real estate.”
In 2018, Cathie joined Columbia River Realty where buyers and sellers appreciate her depth of knowledge and personal approach to meeting their real estate goals.
Cathie listens to what her buyers’ needs are and helps them look into the future and anticipate how their needs might change and if the home is a good match now and down the road, considering factors like size, location, upkeep, and function.
Having staged hundreds of homes, she also enjoys helping sellers identify and address any issues that might prevent their home from selling for top dollar, like curb appeal and clutter.
