As the only full-service real estate brokerage in Washougal, Columbia River Realty is home to a caring team of backyard real estate experts who passionately share their community insight and local market knowledge with clients. “We understand what makes the Camas-Washougal community a special place to call home, because we live, work, and play here, too,” says brokerage owner, Charline Wright. “We share our knowledge and resources, and feel honored to be a part of our neighbor’s real estate story.”
Since opening in 2013, Columbia River Realty has grown to include 27 brokers and one part-time staff member. Wright attributes her brokerage’s success to local knowledge, relationship building, experience, and exceptional service. “We get to know our clients and learn about their hopes and dreams, then we create a custom real estate plan that empowers them to exceed their real estate goals,” she said. “Our ability to anticipate obstacles and create swift solutions helps us minimize surprises and get our clients to where they want to go.”
“Our clients often become friends and we naturally become a trusted resource for support and guidance no matter where they are in the homeownership cycle, from buying and selling, to home maintenance referrals and tips to increase their home value.”

Last year, the brokerage donated to several local causes including Festival of Trees, Dinner in White on the Columbia, Stuff the Bus, Shop for a Cause, and Skamania County 4-H. Broker Robin Steigmann coordinated a family "Giving Tree" for a local family in need at Christmastime. Managing broker, Angie Tauialo Jones, raised money for the C.A.R.O.L Program and donated a bike to Hathaway Elementary School’s “Strive for Five” attendance program. She says, “I’m proud to work alongside a local business owner who is also committed to helping Washougal be a desirable place to live now and in the future.”

The brokerage recently began publishing a monthly local business spotlight on their blog in effort to inspire community pride and connection. So far, they’ve spotlighted five businesses who they feel share their community values, including Spears Strong, Courtney Wilkinson COUNTRY Financial, Beauty Temptations Salon, Glory Days Trophies and Sports, and Washington Wicks. This summer, an article about their community involvement will be featured in Camas Life Magazine.
Wright says, “We’re passionate about helping clients achieve more than they thought possible, and their support of our brokerage also helps us do more for the community than I ever imagined. We really can achieve so much together.”
