Don Jones draws on 25 years of sales experience to help his clients reach their real estate goals. His business is based around his strong interpersonal and leadership skills, the relationships that he builds with clients, and his passion for negotiating the best possible deal on their behalf.
In 2018, Don left a successful career as a car sales manager and began working side-by-side with his wife, Kelli, who is also a real estate broker. He says it's helpful that he's seen every possible scenario. "My experience in car sales really helps me with the back and forth of negotiation, knowing how to read someone that's in front of me, and determining what to say," says Don. "I'm able to anticipate the way things are going to go and help steer the outcome in my clients' favor."
Don also says that his sports experience has helped him in business. He played football in college and donated his time as a youth football coach with Camas's Pop Warner program for seven years. He has coach two high school varsity teams including his alma mater, Camas High School. Don says, "Because of my football experience, I have great leadership and communication skills and I'm good at helping people set goals that are realistic and obtainable. Just like with coaching, I like that I get to be a part of my clients' life, help guide them, and make sure that I do the right thing for them."
Don became a Camas resident in 1981 when his family relocated from Kansas and says he's proud to serve his community. "I like the changes that have happened over time," says Don. "Downtown Camas is thriving and we have a high-quality school district. I also look forward to serving clients in Washougal where there's a lot of new growth - the town is coming into its own and they're finding their identity."
